Amusement Park Aquapolis, undoubtedly the most beautiful water park in Eastern Europe, is the first in Bulgaria, built in a unique Mediterranean style. The park is located in the northwestern part of Golden Sands resort on the main road from Riviera to Albena resort. The water park is located in a forest with a unique view to the sea and the entire resort. Built on an area of 40,000 square meters, it combines natural park with a number of artificially created elements like pools, water slides, Jacuzzi, fountains and waterfalls, towers and ancient ruins. Aquapolis can hold simultaneously up to 3000 visitors. The water park is divided into several areas: Adult, For the Children and Extreme Zone for the thrill seekers. In the adult section is located the so called Slow River, which is 300 meters long and runs along the water temple with waterfall, water jets, rock fragments and ruins of a temple. In this area there is a large swimming pool – a place for relaxation, where everyone can enjoy the beautiful scenery in the park. A bridge and a waterfall, connect the Spa area in which there are multiple jacuzzis and hydromassages. The park has a fast food restaurant, restaurant a la carte Arcadia, restaurant Ambrosia, pool bar Neptune and panoramic snack-bar Alcazar. In the children’s playground an attraction for kids is the pool with a huge dragon, whose mouth slides down. The pool also has a turtle and two small dinosaurs and several different sized slides. The extreme zone is for fans of the adrenaline-rush experience and offers various breathtaking slides. According to Spanish specialists and foreign tour operators Aquapolis in Golden Sands is the most beautiful water theme park in Europe because of the unique combination of nature and water attractions.
